EU Government Affairs Director
Kelsey Paulding
Kelsey is the EU Director of Carbon-Free Europe in Brussels, Belgium. In this role, she works with stakeholders across Europe to advocate for evidence-based climate policies that allow the EU to rapidly deploy existing solutions, address the energy supply crisis, and invest in clean energy technologies and infrastructure. She works to provide research and advocacy materials to policymakers and the broader community to support the EU’s 2050 net-zero commitments, and has experience leading organization’s engagement and strategy at EU level, including with NGOs, companies, and associations. Alongside, Kelsey also holds a consultant Director role at Kreab specializing in EU regulatory affairs, amongst other positions. Previously, Kelsey worked as a policy advisor in the European Parliament, working in-depth on trade and economic issues including on the EU’s sustainable finance legislations. Kelsey has degrees in finance and International Studies from the University of Utah, and has academic and professional experience across Asia, Europe, and North America.
